ReAsons to hire me
1
ALLROUNDER
From developing the design vision to the detail work: I love to do it all.

In a startup environment it is crucial to have a broad set of skills to avoid delays in finding and employing specialists for each area of expertise.

No matter if I create promo sites for startups, do pitch-prototypes for fin-tech companies or design large scale corporate sites and business critical applications for blue-chip companies, I can always rely on my skills and experience.
2
AGILE
Time to market is important; that’s why I use the most efficient tools and processes to get results quickly.

Scrum is my choice when working in an agile environment with a team of specialists.

Rapid prototyping and user-testing help me to embrace the customer centric design approach.

Mobile First is for me a great way to reduce und unclutter my UX-Designs and forces me to consider responsive behaviour right from the start.
3
INTERNATIONAL
Working with people from other cultures and backgrounds makes my job interesting.

Having an international education, I’m used to work with international teams and operate in different environments.
4
SOLID BACKGROUND
Art Center College of Design is the leading school for Product and Transportation Design.

My design engineering background allows me not only to design but also to check the feasibility of my ideas right away.
5
EXPERIENCED
During my studies I could work on industry-sponsored projects (Seiko-Epson / Whirlpool...)

As a design engineer in the defence industry I had to comply with very high quality standards and tight deadlines in a high tech environment.

Working over 20 Years in the IT-Field I’ve had the priviledge to serve numerous international blue-chip companies and help them to transform their businesses to take full advantage of the possibilities of all digital channels.

Working for top tier banks I’ve acquired in-depth know-how in different fields of the finance industry as well as fin-tech ventures and start-ups.
6
INNOVATOR
When it comes to creating an innovation product I won’t settle for the obvious, the tried-and-true or best practise. I try to be unique and walk my own path.

Innovation must create a competitive advantage for the client. Therefor not only a new idea counts, but the business model needs to be sound as well.

Lean startup helps me to ensure both aspects.

Applying creativity techniques is a reliable way to create surprising and innovative new concepts. I like to get inspired by nature and apply it’s principles to my designs (bionics).

As a patent holder I can appreciate the value of intellectual property and know how to protect it.
7
THOUGHT LEADER
Sitting in the backseat is not in my nature. As a thought leader I like to be in the drivers seat when it comes to creating new ideas or products.

My “Out of the box thinking” and seeing things from a different perspective help me to use new approaches to the given challenges.

Being the positive driving force I am able to motivate others to excel in their work and to contribute their skills and expertise to reach the best project results possible.
Visibility and awards
Publication
I’m really proud, that my first product (ScorpionRacer) has been featured in the “Swiss Design” book right next to Swiss product design classics like the Swiss Army Knife or the Sigg bottle.

CTI
Coaching
The Swiss Federation supports young entrepreneurs by providing training modules and coaching. I was glad to get accepted into the CTI program, because my business idea did not fit precisely the CTI criteria.

Being accepted into the CTI program opens up a whole range of support:

I had the opportunity to attend training courses where a realistic businessplan was developed and the product offering was sharpened.

business coach was assigned to my project to challenge the business idea and product proposition with his marketing expertise. He also helped to prepare for meetings with potential clients, investors, license takers and shared his extensive professional network, which is very valuable if you entering a new market.
STARTUP
competitions
Startup competitions have been a great opportunity to sharpen my presentation skills, refine the product offering and to get connected to investors and business-angels.

The feedback from investors is extremely valuable when it comes to challenge the business idea and value the market potential.
